Dr Cathy Returns in Third Season of Outpatients on Fox Life

The aesthetic doctor with the heart of gold, Dr Cathy Davies, returns to FOX Life as the third season of Outpatients premieres on the channel (DSTV 126, Starsat 133) on 31 August 2020. Every patient has a story, every procedure has its challenges, and every outcome has its rewards this season, which airs on Mondays and Fridays at 20:00 and runs through September.
Dr. Cathy is a medical doctor with a passion for changing people from the inside out. An early childhood burn injury involving a Christmas candle gave her first-hand experience of how it feels to need medical help – this led her to pursue aesthetic medicine as an adult. Now a proud mom of three, Dr. Cathy splits her time between caring for her family and caring for her patients.
In every episode of Outpatients, Cathy and her team of specialised medical professionals achieve the most extreme rehabilitations and transformations imaginable, and along the way, Dr. Cathy does whatever it takes to restore her patients’ lives. In the third season, viewers will get an even more intimate glimpse of Dr. Cathy and the daily miracles she performs with compassion, empathy and determination. Her cases take viewers on an emotional rollercoaster as the stories elicit both tears and cheers.
The cases featured in Outpatients are life changing. In this season, Dr Cathy treats a chronically ill retired dancer who might lose his leg; a lady in the Eastern Cape with a facial tumor that is making it difficult for her to eat, drink, breathe and see; and a patient who lost most of her face as a child to Lupus. Dr Cathy also checks in with Vuyi, a patient from the first season, who is still fighting his motor neuron disease and Ariana, a young teenage patient from the second season, who, after the tragic death of her cousin, suffered from Alopecia and lost most of her hair.
