About Baking Belles
Baking Belles is directed by Safiyya, and is a specialist, concept baking store which now includes a baking studio for workshops and classes, as well as a small coffee shop concept area.
Baking Belles have been operating for 2 (two) years and employs 1 (one) person.
How has the lockdown affected Baking Belles?
Unfortunately we extended and added the coffee shop and baking studio just before Covid brought disruption to our lives. Unfortunately going forward these areas cannot be used until some normalcy resumes. At this stage, we are uncertain that the store will survive more than a few months.

We are busy setting up an online store.
Why do you think Baking Belles deserves to win the After Fajr Grind Awards?
As a single parent, a person who has been through tests that would’ve broken many, and someone who doesn’t have any business knowledge or schooling background- I have successfully run my business even though I had closed and was forced to think about selling last year. This year, on my own, I extended and would have been a success with the studio, but unfortunately we plan, but ALLAH plans better.
