Inxiweni Primary School was constructed in 1974 and officially registered in 1976. The school is now 48 years and still well maintained thanks to the school Principal, Ms Ruth Tabu and her team, who works tirelessly together with Educators and the School Governing Body (SGB). There are currently 1460 learners and 41 Educators. The school takes learners from grade R to grade 7 and they are predominantly from the nearby communities and informal settlement. Despite the daily challenges the school is faced with, like overcrowding, Ms Nothabani shared that the school is the preferred feeder for most High Schools in the area.  She attributed this success to the dedication of Educators and the disciplined learners.
