Swimming South Africa Youth Elite Squad Swimmer - Shu'aib Lindoor

Competing at overseas competitions for most National sports has become very difficult for our youth as funding is not freely available for them to do so.

Many have to self-fund their trips to represent their country at these international events, but these trips are not cheap.

Crowdfunding has become a norm, and users find it easy to reach out to assist those in need via these platforms.

Today, a group of young men have been chosen by Swimming South Africa to represent our country as the Youth Elite Squad to participate in The Austrian Cup 5km event on the 21 July 2019.

One of the chosen swimmers, Shu'aib Lindoor is seeking assistance with funding for his trip: 

I’m a grade 10 pupil at St Dominics Priory, Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
I have been selected for The Youth Elite squad of swimming South Africa to compete at the Austrian Cup Open water 5km Competition in July 2019.
