Home Based Burger and Food Vendors in Cape Town
A number of craft burger makers have sprung up in Cape Town many of them operating from their homes. Come the weekend you can easily order some great handmade burgers and chips via whatsapp and collect it on your way home. Along with burgers other options like ribs, grills, pizza even cupcakes are available. I’ve compiled a list of vendors operating in Cape Town and surrounds. Full addresses are not included as most will give an address once you have placed an order. Make the weekends your no cook nights and spoil yourself. Just call ahead, order and collect!

Grillerz has your Friday night supper covered! Serving flame grilled beef or tikka chicken burgers and chips 🔥. Also on offer are loaded cheese fries and onion rings. Look out for their old-school bottles of cooldrink. Orders close at 4pm or till they’re sold out.

Based in Sybrand Park in the Southern Suburbs, Smokey & Co are no strangers to the market scene. You can often spot their unmissable smoking truck at an event or outdoor market. They used to operate from home on weekends only but they have now opened a dedicated outlet that operates almost every day. They smoke all kinds of meat and also do wood fired pizza and calzones.

A fairly new outfit in the Northern Suburb of Panorama. The Burger House is open Saturdays from 5:30pm to 9pm. Phone orders welcome as well as walk ins.

Steelies Fast Foods
Steelies do amazing burgers but have sadly closed their weekday outlet in Athlone. They are still operating from home on Saturday nights though so you can still get your Steelies fix. Open from 6pm till 9pm.

You have to pre-order for this one and she operates on weekdays only.
