17 year old South African builds his own car from scrap metals and spare parts
One man's scrap, is another man's car
This is true for 17 year old, Obakeng Thetele from South Africa.
The teenager who really wanted a car, was told by his father that he would need to save up and wait until he finished school first.
Obakeng watched and assisted his father repair cars from a young age, so he used some scrap metals and spare parts and built his own car during the lockdown period in 2020.
