Recently, the eThekwini Municipality conducted an open invitation to all fashion designers and fashion houses to attend a presentation highlighting the 5th instalment of the 2018 Durban Fashion Fair Mentorship Programme.
The Municipality initiated the programme to equip and expose fashion designers to various business and fashion skills which will enable them to be innovative and enhance their businesses. For those who get accepted, the programme will also help facilitate market and networking opportunities, leading to growth and sustainability of the emerging fashion designers’ businesses.
The designer hopefuls that came from far and wide to the presentation hosted at the Botanic Gardens were:
