blu_line kitchens wins best overall stand at 25th Decorex Joburg
Leading kitchen design specialists, blu-line kitchens, took the ‘Best Overall Stand’ at the 25th Decorex Joburg Exhibitor Stands’ Awards held on Tuesday, 8 August.
The top-quality products, expansive scale and sensory appeal of this stunning stand saw it take top honours for Decorex Joburg – sponsored by Plascon – taking place at the Gallagher Convention Centre from 8 to 12 August.
“There were so many strong contenders at this year’s event, but blu-line kitchens really stood apart,”
said Sian Cullingworth, Portfolio Director of Decorex.
“The entire kitchen setting was really dynamic with the exquisite slide-away marble top and sensor-based sink worth particular mention.”
Cullingworth said the judges were impressed by the high calibre of products and innovative designs:
“The stands really showcased the best of Joburg’s décor industry. This year Decorex Joburg has a bumper number of designers and features at this year’s show, which made choosing the winning stands an extremely difficult task. So much has gone into creating these inspirational stands for this milestone exhibition, and they truly reflect the quality that continues to make Decorex such a popular event.”
Each year the show’s most dynamic exhibitors are rewarded through the exhibitor awards which are announced on the first evening of the show. Each stand is judged by an independent panel who assess the ingenuity and creativity of each design.
This year Decorex Joburg welcomed a stellar panel of judges to the event including: Décor Stylist, Jo Sharp; Dave Nemeth, Trend Forecaster and Business Consultant at Trend Forward; Gina Borthwick, Media Manager at Ballyhoo Media; Kelebogile Nondzaba, Editor at SA Homeowner; and Dickie King, Consultant at Design Plus.
