Bonnie Bio helps Kommetjie kids keep Long Beach clean

Bonnie Bio teamed up with Kommetjie Eco Pre-primary school (KEPP) to help keep Long Beach clean. On 19 October, the school organised a beach clean-up and Bonnie Bio provided  plastic-free, home compostable bags for rubbish collection.

Bonnie Bio has committed to providing bags for future clean-up projects across South Africa including coastlines, parks, green belts and national parks.

KEPP was delighted that Bonnie Bio came onboard to help them teach their children about the importance of keeping their environment clean. Beach clean-ups show children how damaging littering and pollution can be. We want children to learn to look after the earth so that it will be as beautiful for their children one day.

Frank McDouall, founder of Bonnie Bio believes this is a good start, but more must be done.

“It’s amazing that these kids are doing this for us and for future generations, but we all need to get involved in leaving a legacy for our children and stop polluting the planet,”

he says.

If you are organising a clean-up and need bags, feel free to contact Bonnie Bio for large, plastic free, 100% certified home compostable bags.
