Get ready for the Annual Street Food Festival with NOLA
The annual Street Food Festival is back for a fifth time and will celebrate street food in all of its varied and delicious forms.
NOLA Mayonnaise will help ensure that visitors enjoy wonderful food at the culinary festival this September.
Following on the great attendance and success of previous festivals, 2018 will see the Street Food Festival hitting top gear with one of their sponsors, NOLA Mayonnaise, and bringing delicious tastes to everyone this Spring. The festival will kick off on Saturday, 1 September in Cape Town at the Cape Town Day Market and will then head up to Johannesburg on Sunday, 9 September at the Joburg Day Market at Common Ground, Maboneng.
NOLA will #CreateAStir through inspirational food samples and their energetic & passionate chefs. You will be able to catch Chef Lucia Mthiyane in Cape Town and The Lazy Makoti in Johannesburg. Visit the Street Food Festival in Cape Town and make your way to the NOLA stand and get experience and see NOLA chefs creating creamy and delicious dishes with NOLA Mayonnaise. They will be teaching visitors how to add that extra flair to their food.

Festival Times and Dates:
Admission to the Cape Town Day Market at Cape Town Cruise Terminal, V&A Waterfront on Saturday 1 or Sunday 2 September is R50. Alternatively, you can get a ticket for both days at only R80. This will allow you to enjoy live DJ’s, Crate Talks and a wide variety of delicious food vendors to select from. The festival’s doors open at 11am and close at 5pm.
On Sunday, 2 September you can enjoy the SFF Snack Map where you can taste exclusive dishes inspired by classic street food will be available at some of Cape Town and Joburg’s much-loved food institutions including Clarkes (CPT), Max Bagels (CPT), The Whippet (JHB) and Saigon Suzy (JHB)
