Gold Reef City Introduces Shuttle Service From Park Station
Gold Reef City and TI Louw Trading Logistics have partnered with Gautrain to offer shuttle services between Gautrain Park Station and the Gold Reef City Theme Park complex, making it easier than ever for visitors to make their way to Johannesburg’s favourite entertainment destination.
Gold Reef City & Theme Park Marketing Manager, Feron Somiah, says the service provides potential visitors with additional options to get to Gold Reef City.
“In the past, people could visit us by finding their own way to the precinct or catching The Red Bus. Now, someone staying in Sandton or Rosebank, for example, can catch the Gautrain to Park Station and hop on the shuttle bus to Gold Reef City.”
Alternatively, visitors staying at Gold Reef City can catch the shuttle to Gautrain Park Station for only R25 one way. They can then catch the Gautrain to take advantage of other sightseeing opportunities in Johannesburg even hop off at Rosebank and catch the Red Bus Sightseeing Tour back to Gold Reef City.

Some four vehicles, with the distinctive Gold Reef City branding, have been supplied by TI Louw Trading for the service. Three shuttles each seat 22 people and one seat 16 people.
Somiah says the shuttle service is all about affording visitors a more direct way of getting to Gold Reef City.
“They can purchase once-off or monthly tickets from the Box Office at Gold Reef City and rest assured they will be in the capable hands of experienced and competent drivers.”
