Google Launches Qibla Finder

Google announced today the *Qibla Finder*, a new web service which helps users find the right direction of the Qibla using augmented reality.

The Qibla (Arabic: قبلة‎‎‎, "direction"), also transliterated as Qiblah, Qibleh, Kiblah, Kıble or Kibla, is the direction that is faced when a Muslim performs Salaah (prays). It is a fixed direction pointing towards the Kaabah in Makkah (Mecca).
