New Head of Sales for Faircity
Even though it is nearing the end of the year and many people are winding down, Miranda Evangelou has hit the road running.

She is the newly appointed Group Sales and Marketing Manager at Faircity Hotels and Apartments, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience gained in the school of hard knocks. Miranda is a competitive and strong results-driven sales professional with a successful track record in penetrating different markets and growing revenue.
Her journey with travel started in 2006 when she joined the timeshare industry and then moved on to bigger and better things at Flight Centre in 2007 as a novice to the industry. Miranda moved up to store manager in a short 8 months. After spending a few months at Fusion Boutique Hotel as a Sales Executive, Miranda was head hunted by Extrabold where she took on the role of Sales Manager for two of their Sandton-based hotels.
Miranda’s love of hotels continued to grow as she moved on to Kievits Kroon Estate and Spa, Extraordinary Hotel Group and most recently to Forever Resorts South Africa. She managed a big team to support the 22 properties in the Forever Resorts South Africa portfolio with sales and marketing.
Her bright and cheerful outlook on life is uplifting.
She said, “Every day is an opportunity. You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world's problems at once, but don't ever underestimate your importance and the difference you can make in one day”.
Miranda has lived in Pretoria her entire life and has three children including twins. She enjoys mountain biking, fun runs, park runs and any outdoor activities. She loves spending time with the people that are closest to her. She was born with an insatiable wanderlust, grabbing every opportunity to travel with both hands. Her love of people and sales has been an unbeatable combination, earning her numerous awards and accolades over the years.
Faircity’s unique range of hotels and dynamic leadership team is what attracted Miranda to the group. She is looking forward to raising the profile of Faircity’s properties for both business and leisure travel. Her love of hospitality and travel is evident when she speaks about her plans for the group,
