Ollie Hayes releases new single Fallen For You
'Fallen For You' is the latest single from Ollie Hayes, which was released on all platforms globally on 25th June 2021.

British singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Ollie Hayes music is the soundtrack to life in the roaring twenties; Independent, honest, and constantly evolving.
Ollie describes his music as alternative/pop as he glides between genres and styles "with a musical ethos built on the sonic diversity that modernity enables us with."
His solo career started on 10th July 2020, but due to COVID-19 restrictions his tours and gigs have been put on hold.
He used this time to focus on creating music and digital content for his fans.

Ollie's new 'Lockdown' album which is expected to be released during the UK's Autumn (Spring in South Africa) was written and produced in the first three months of 2021.
The new single from that album, ‘Fallen For You’ is available to stream and download everywhere.
Purposefully released in the height of the English Summer, this is a feel-good jangly pop tune, with a sweet hook and intricate guitar details, orchestrated in such a way that they feel like they could be on a great 90’s Britpop record. Very far removed from the darker predecessor, ‘Mad Love’, this record exudes optimism despite the more pessimistic, yet rather humorous lyrics.
Ollie said of the song:
“This song began just before the UK went into lockdown in 2020 but was finished towards the UK lockdown easing in 2021. I wanted the song to be summery and wrote it somewhat nonchalantly with the aim of just writing something that felt like escapism from the gloom of the coronavirus pandemic. When I was writing the lyrics I pretty much wrote down the first thing that came into my head with very little refinement, but when I showed it to the people I was isolating with, I realized all the things that I spoke of in the lyrics were things that I had done throughout the lockdown/pandemic and they had subconsciously blended into the narrative of the story.
Sonically, I took inspiration from the 90’s Britpop era and the sounds of bands like The Stone Roses and The La’s as they remind me of the wonderful English summer days and the place that inspired the song, Wellow.
For me writing music has always been like a form of therapy, it’s helped me through some really dark stages of my life, so with that in mind, I want people to be making wonderful happy memories with this song. Dance, tell someone you love them, and sing it out with every breath in your body, for, after all, Love is everything.”
