SEAfrica 2018 Conference to host Black Coffee Initiative
South African Producer and DJ, Black Coffee got his big break in 2015 after winning the "Breakthrough DJ Of The Year" award at the DJ Awards in Ibiza.
He has since played at some of the biggest festivals around the world and is an inspiration for all aspiring Producers both locally and internationally.
Not only is Black Coffee a successful Producer and DJ, he is also an innovative entrepreneur and owns a technology company called Flightmode Digital, the aim of which is to create and invest in technology companies.
At the SEAfrica Conference, which takes place on the 26th and 27th of September 2018 at Joburg Theatre, the General Manager of Flightmode Digital, Simukayi Mukuna, will be sharing his expertise with attendees, specifically focusing on the unique way in which the music industry can combine the uses of technology, finance and the digital creative process.
Mukuna will present the highly talked about music streaming app called GongBox, the brain child of Black Coffee, and a first for Africa.
Attendees are also in for a treat as they will have the opportunity to view an exclusive video featuring Black Coffee sharing the business model of Gongbox.

He cofounded Wabona a streaming service for African Movies, TV shows and Documentaries. He also worked at WeChat Africa facilitating the greater adoption and use of the product within Multichoice Africa.

Black Coffee, is a South African record producer and DJ. He began his career around 1995 and has released five albums as well as a live DVD. Black Coffee had his big break shortly after being chosen as a participant in the 2004 Red Bull Music Academy held in Cape Town.
