The producers of the musical Saturday Night Fever at the South African State Theatre (SAST) in Pretoria are keen to make their production accessible to new and old audiences alike. In order to share the Fever, the SAST has created several special offers aimed at making this an affordable family fun outing. There are a variety of special performances to choose from.

On Thursday September 29th at 20h00, parents of teenagers will be given the opportunity to share with their kids how they used to party it up in the 70s, with a special deal on all tickets: with each regular priced ticket bought by a parent, your teenager will get to see the show for free. What better way to show your teenagers that you were hip, and that the 70s was an unforgettable era, than by sharing the sweet moves of the disco era and the incredible sound track by the Bee Gees?

In continuation of the SAST’s celebration of Heritage Month, audiences are invited to the 20h00 show on Friday September 30th, with a special offer of “2 tickets for the price of one”. Celebrate your heritage by supporting South African talent!

At the 15h00 matinee show on Saturday October 1st, all those in the audience will be invited to a unique opportunity to meet the cast at a special 30 minute Q&A session following the show. This is a wonderful opportunity for the public to delve into the makings of a super musical like Saturday Night Fever.

The South African State Theatre acknowledges and supports the role of all service men & women. Show your Service ID at the theatre box office and watch the show in the best available seats for only R120 – for the 20h00 show on Saturday October 1st only!

In support of Gay Pride Weekend and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, wear your fabulous pink outfits to Saturday Night Fever. Get your best hangover fix after Pride at the 14h00 performance on Sunday October 2nd! This is your chance to extend the party and do some real good.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and so The SAST - in partnership with Cancer South Africa – has allocated the performance of Saturday Night Fever at 14h00 on Sunday October 2nd as a fundraising drive for Cansa South Africa. For every ticket purchased, R50 will be donated to the association.

For some youngsters, it’s end of term. Why not start it with a blast on Thursday October 6th at 12 noon – a special price of R100 per person for school block bookings will be available for all learners.

Who doesn’t want to share in the glitz and glamour of show business? Rub shoulders with some of your favourite local celebrities at the 20h00 performance on Saturday October 8th: A Night of the Stars at Saturday Night Fever will feature a host of South African Celebrities. Be there and be seen with the Who’s Who! A night not to be missed: buy 1 ticket and get 1 free!

Every Saturday Night! Disco like it’s 1977 on Saturday Night at 20h00 and get the fever. Join the State Theatre for a dress-up night straight out of the 70’s! Wear your best bell-bottom jeans & 70s glam! And then stand the chance to win VIP tickets to the Gala Opening Night of The Greatest Love of All: The Whitney Houston Show at the Opera Theatre in January by posting your 70’s pics on Social Media.
