Mother's Day is just around the corner, and who doesn't want to spoil the special mothers and those who have the role of mother and nurturer in our lives?

Whether they are mums, sisters, single dads, aunts or daughters – here are some wonderful gift ideas from HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, that you can create yourself to give that extra-special person a gift!

  1. Photo collage

Creating a collection of heart-warming memories, that your special someone can look at whenever they want to, is sure to trigger the biggest smile.

Get a collage frame, then jump into the photo gallery of your Nokia G21 and select the snaps (thanks to its 50MP camera)  that you know will light up their face, and print them out.

Hop onto Canva and use a collage template to arrange all your photos. You can add captions and cute graphics to make this gift super-customised.

  1. Family baking

Create delicious goodies together with that motherly figure in your life. And the great thing about technology is that you can do it from wherever you are in the world!

Now you might say:

“Hold the phone (pun intended) - I can’t crack eggs and measure flour while squinting to see Mum on a hand-sized phone!”

Thanks to the bigger screen of the Nokia T20 Tablet and 2K screen with eagle-eye clarity (plus great sound), you can mix, chat, bake, and enjoy this truly home-made experience together.

  1. Good old breakfast in bed

It may seem old-fashioned, but breakfast in bed will always be something that the carer in your life will appreciate - and it will make them feel special and loved.

Get someone who lives with Mum on board with your plan. Send them a list of the items that you’d like included on the Mother’s Day breakfast tray (you can order them online to have them delivered the day before). To dial you in and pop your Nokia C21 Plus right at the front of the tray.

As the tray is brought into Mum’s bedroom, wish her the happiest Mother’s Day, and spend a lovely morning with her, chatting while they enjoy their breakfast. And don’t worry - this phone has astounding battery life, so you can relax and enjoy your morning together (it’s also super durable, so if Mum knocks the phone over in a flamboyant gesture, telling you about when they were a youngster, your phone will be A-OK!).

4. Family high tea

A common Mother’s Day activity is to go out to a high tea. Coordinate with the family to be available on Mother’s Day morning or afternoon, then create a WhatsApp group to discuss the arrangements. Dial in on a group call - the Nokia G21 is a great phone for this as it has a long three-day battery life (though we wouldn’t suggest having a high tea for as long as that)  and a 50MP camera to take video shorts and photos of memorable moments.
