Time Attack: prizes up for grabs
It is just a few days away from the Time Attack powered by MasterDrive at Killarney this week. The MasterDrive team is looking forward to taking each other on as well as the variety of drivers that will be competing in the race. Those attending as either racers or spectators also stand the chance to win great prizes.
The Time Attack is in its second year and promises even greater competitive spirit and spectator enjoyment. The CEO of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert, adds: “We are adding to the event this year by creating the opportunity for drivers to win prizes. From MasterDrive drivers can win a notable R1 000 in cash.
“Additionally, Goch & Cooper will be giving drivers a valuable range of prizes including a software upgrade or Unichip, a software management tune and a full Dyno check with live data provided. Thus, this years’ Time Attack has plenty to offer with opportunities for a wide range of individuals able to compete and prizes for a select few.”
Hosting the event on Women’s Day is a significant decision. “MasterDrive is dedicated to promoting women in the transport industry and will have a particular focus on women in racing this year. In the upcoming MasterDrive Driver Search, we are encouraging ladies to take the leap and compete to be one of the team drivers at the Simola Hillclimb. At our upcoming Women with Drive event two presenters will be professional motorbike racers.
“Consequently, we encourage the ladies to not hesitate to attend, particularly as a driver, but also as spectators. MasterDrive strongly supports developing the motorsport industry by increasing opportunities across various demographic groups. As such, the team will be pleased to welcome ladies to join us at the Time Attack event.”
The team looks forward to welcoming you at the 2023 Time Attack powered by MasterDrive. “Whether you are a driver or spectator be sure to stop by our stand and chat with the MasterDrive team. With the growing participation and interest, we anticipate the Time Attack event will soon attract more interest on the South African racing calendar,” says Herbert.
