Comedian Kevin Fraser debuts new show with South African tour
Kevin Fraser is one of South Africa’s most viewed and enjoyed comedians and content creators who has repeatedly broken the 1 million view benchmark with his daily observations and hilarious satires.
Kevin realised he could not only make people dance, but laugh a little too. His passion for performance and his natural talent started to evolve into something truly unique as he began releasing videos in 2015 about his experience as an ex-pat abroad and did so through the guise of stereotypical South African personas. The success of these videos was instantaneous. Kevin’s career took off, and his fan base exploded across all his online platforms.
Throughout 2022 Kevin has toured the UK, Europe, Australia and North America. He is now returning home with his all new show as “Minister of Entertainment” touring South Africa this festive season.
The show makes it’s South African debut at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City on 18 November, followed on 19 November at Theatre Menlyn (Barnyard), Pretoria and then on to The Globe at Suncoast, Durban on 02 December. Next stop is the Savoy Theatre in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) on 14 December and the final show at the Baxter Theatre, Cape Town on 15 December. Shows begin at 8pm and tickets cost from R250 or R300 and are available online on the Kevin Fraser website excluding Cape Town tickets which are available on the webtickets website.
The art of creating a title of tales as a collective for the most unpolitical state of no affairs leaves a lot to the imagination. Or so Kevin thinks.
