Simmi Areff tackles the tale as old as time… love!

Love.  A tale as old as time….

And in true Simmi Areff fashion, he breaks down the concept of love and everything in between in his much-anticipated new one-man show, “Love And Other Jokes” at the Auto & General Theatre on the Square on the 28^th of September, 2019.

Following his successful TV special, “Lesser Known Somebody”, Simmi explores the whimsical tales of his love life; the funny ups-and-downs; the awkward moments; the plots of lust; the folly of infatuation and recites his hilarious poetry about former-and-future companions.

Simmi is the Agony Uncle for the heartbroken; the love guru of the modern era.  He seemingly has all the answers – but take them with a pinch of salt – because he wouldn’t be sharing his story if his love life was better than yours.

“It’s a show with lots of interaction, bringing in the audience to share their love stories along with me.  But I’m not only talking about love but about stories of my dad, my poetry and other experiences,” comments Simmi.

Tickets for “Love And Other Jokes” are available at R150 per person from Computicket outlets and online. 

The show carries a PG-14 age restriction and starts at 20h30.  The Auto & General Theatre on the Square is located on the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton.
