Scones recipe by Keenan Blake
450g self-raising flour (plus extra for dusting)
125g butter
125g castor sugar
2 eggs
150ml milk
1/2 cup raisins
In a bowl add the flour and castor sugar, give it one mix. Rub the butter into the flour mixture. Once you rubbed the butter into the flour add the raisins and mix it, too evenly distribute them. In a small bowl add the milk and eggs together, give it a quick whisk and it to the dry ingredients. Mix with your hands until it forms a soft dough. Press the dough on any surface with you hands until its 1,5cm thick. Using a round cutter, cut 12 scones out(you wont be able to cut out 12 at once, you have to re roll a couple of times to got 12). Place on a baking tray well apart from each other. Dust the tops of each scone with a bit of flour. Bake for 12 mins on 200°C, until the tops are golden brown
