Beef stroganoff recipe by Keenan Blake

800g rump steak, cut into strips
1/2 punnet mushrooms, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
I onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons black pepper
Salt to taste
4 cups milk
1/2 cup water (with 2 tablespoons flour mixed in it)
5 tablespoons butter

In a saucepan add the butter and onions, allow to cook for 5 mins. Add the steak strips to the pan and followed by the black pepper and salt to taste, fry for 8 mins. Add the mushroom and green pepper to the pan, cook for a further 5 mins. Now add the milk and water/flour mixture to the saucepan. Mix everything together, cook for another 10 mins. Remember to keep mixing until the sauce becomes thick. Once done remove from the stove and garnish with coriander. Can be served with rice or pasta.
