Sweetcorn Bake Recipe
Sweetcorn Bake

Ingredients
2 cans of Sweetcorn (we prefer KOO for the creaminess)
4 heaped tablespoons of flour
2 heaped teaspoons of baking powder
1 egg
1 teaspoon of milk
2 tablespoons of butter
Method
Crack the egg into a bowl
Add the milk to the bowl with the egg and whisk it
Add the flour and baking powder to the bowl with the whisked egg
Mix the flour, baking powder and whisked egg together
Add the butter to the bowl (you can melt the butter before - but it it not necessary as it will melt while baking)
Add the sweetcorn to the bowl
Mix all the ingredients together (Don't worry if there are a few lumps of butter)
Preheat the oven to 190 Degrees Celsius
Place the mixture into an oven safe dish (pyrex / marinex)
Place the dish into the oven, and bring the temperature down to 180 degrees celsius
Bake for 45 minutes or until the surface is golden brown
Enjoy this dish as a delicious side at a Braai.
