Travel Review: Hotel Cube (Morningside, Durban)

Travelling anywhere these days is a costly affair, that's why sites like Booking.com, Trivago, Agoda have sprung up to assist travellers in getting the best deals on hotel accommodation.
On a recent visit to Durban we were fortunate enough to stay at a reasonably priced hotel. Hotel Cube which is situated on 186 Innes Road, Morningside; close to the famous Innes Road Cube, was a charming hotel to say the least. With approximately 48 en-suite, fully air-conditioned rooms; a full dining area which is strictly Halaal; and a 60 seater conference centre, this little 'cube' has a lot to offer.
Along with your usual flat screen TVs in each room, reception, and the dining area, all linked to a fair amount of DSTV (satellite) channels, the hotel also offers free Wi-Fi to all its guests (without a limit, I might add), and a deluxe continental breakfast all inclusive in the standard rate.
Besides breakfast served in the dining area, you also have an option of ordering room service and on a Friday, there is a buffet lunch for just R75 per person.
Safe and secure parking facilities are also available on the premises with 24 hour security patrolling the premises.
The staff were pleasant and always willing to assist where they could and made my family and I feel at home. In fact we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay for an extra night !
Hotel Cube is definitely a good choice in accommodation when visiting Durban.
