Review: Nikon D7200 DSLR Camera
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nikon, several new cameras have been launched that have photographers going crazy.

I am an avid photographer but nowhere near a professional, but I also wanted to know what the hype was about, with Nikon.
For years I've seen great photographers use Nikon cameras, and I have always thought that one day if I take great photographs, that's the camera I would love to do it with.
The day has come and I struck up the courage to try out a Nikon D7200 for a week. The mid-level DSLR which was launched in 2015 is everyone's photo buddy. Being my first time shooting with a DSLR, it took some getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, there was no stopping me. I was going crazy taking pictures of everything and no one could stop me because I was armed with a Nikon.

The detail in the 24MP camera is phenomenal. Portraits will never be the same again for me, after experiencing the shots that this DSLR takes. The definition and detail on each potrait photo is exceptional.

The 18-55mm lens is all that I shot with, but the landscape photos that I took literally spoke a thousand words.

As I attend many events and travel quite often, I love to capture my experiences on video to share with others. The Full HD functionality had my videos crystal clear and the sound complemented the high resolution filming capabilities.
Shutter speed, effects, and lighting are all functions that can be adjusted to set your photographic needs. Other capabilities such as VR and Wi-Fi are also available to give you all that you need to express yourself in the lifestyle, media, or entertainment world.
The battery life is amazing, and charging it is a dream as it is so quick. There is two slots for SD cards and if you are like me, you will definitely need both or one with a high storage capacity.
The unit retails at stores, for the body only, at approximately R15000 which is very reasonable considering all the features it has to offer.
Definitely on our recommended list if you are in the market for a DSLR camera.
