Announcing the VMS Paint 24hrs of iLamuna: A New Chapter in the series with VMS Paint coming onboard as title sponsor
Following the phenomenal success of the Mischief 9hr Endurance Race in Cape Town, we are thrilled to announce the next exhilarating event in the Lemons Series: the VMS Paint 24hrs of iLamuna, powered by Insurisk, Dunlop Tyres, and Havoline.
Set to take place from November 1-3, 2024, this race promises to be an unforgettable experience for racers and fans alike.
Building on Success: The iLamuna series is proud to have introduced over 280 new drivers to motorsport over the past three years. We have celebrated milestones such as the youngest female driver in a 9hr race globally, Kirsten "Kiki" Auerswald, and the youngest boys, Keegan Nathan and Mauro Da Luz, to race a 9hr in Africa as well as the youngest and oldest drivers in a 24hr at 79 and 15 years respectively.
Introducing the VMS Paint 24hrs of iLamuna: As we look ahead, the VMS Paint 24hrs of iLamuna is set to elevate the Lemons racing experience even further. This 24-hour endurance race will test the limits of both cars and drivers, demanding perseverance, strategy, and teamwork. With new classes, OG and SL, being introduced, the competition is set to be fiercer and more diverse than ever.
