Recruitment Agents
I'm not sure if this is a compliment or not...
Today I went in to meet with a recruitment agent who had once again told me over the phone what a wonderful opportunity he had and I would be the perfect candidate. On the phone with him last week, we had a mini interview and I told him about my experience, my qualifications and what I am currently doing.
When the time came to meet him today, his first words to meet after he introduced himself was, "With all your experience and ideas with business, I expected you to be over 40 maybe even close to 50".
Needless to say when I met with the Managing Director of the company we spent not even 5 minutes together because we both knew that this opportunity was not for me.
