Boasting new fuel efficiency technologies, advanced drive assist display, wireless charging, and state-of-the-art around view monitors – making parking and navigating rush hour traffic easier than ever before – the Kuro offers South Africans a premium driving experience.

As has come to be known of SA’s most affordable SUV range, the Magnite line’s technological advancements and new features as a core part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) philosophy, carrying Nissan’s heritage as a game-changer in its segment.

“Having made our name in South Africa with powerhouse vehicles like the Navara, we are aiming to increase our product range across the country, so we can offer even better driving experiences for more diverse markets. The Magnite Kuro’s understated sophistication, technological advances, and overall aesthetic are perfect for the driver who wants to stand out,”

says Stefan Haasbroek, Marketing Director at Nissan Africa.

The Magnite Kuro is a testament to Nissan’s spirit of relentless innovation and Japanese engineering, offering South Africans a range of automotive solutions without compromising on safety and comfort – all as part of the Nissan Intelligent Mobility technology suite.

Influencing all of Nissan’s new designs, Nissan Intelligent Mobility focuses on three core factors. The first is, Intelligent Driving, allowing drivers to feel more confident through driver assistance technology. Secondly, Intelligent Power, so drivers can feel excitement about the boost to their vehicle’s performance. Lastly, the Intelligent Integration, where your vehicle can connect seamlessly to other technologies, including your smartphone, to improve safety and traffic flow awareness.

Derived from the Japanese word for 'black', the name Kuro not only personifies the vehicle’s bold colour scheme, but also reflects its premium quality, top-notch aesthetic, and Nissan’s history of reliability.

While it sports an all-black roof and dark interiors, the SA edition will have four colour options for its exteriors: black, white, silver, and red.

In recent years, the Nissan Magnite range has been awarded with the 4-Star Safety Rating for Adult Occupant Safety from the Global New Car Assessment Programme (GNCAP), whose aim is to promote and improve vehicle safety standards worldwide.

These safety features include:

  • Electronic Stability Programme (ESP)
  • Traction Control System (TCS)
  • Hill Start Assist (HSA)
  • Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

The Nissan Magnite Kuro is available countrywide.
