Funko’s Pop! Vinyl figures stands 9.5 centimeters (cm) tall but limited, exclusive 15.2cm and 22.8cm Pop! Figures are released periodically. Each Pop! Vinyl has an incremental number assigned to it based on the collection it belongs to.
Also available in South Africa, thanks to Gammatek, is the Funko Mystery Minis range featuring collections for fans of Barbie, Five Nights at Freddie’s, Captain America, Zootopia, Beauty and the Beast, Big Bang Theory, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and many more. These are slightly smaller than the Pop! Vinyl figures and come in blind boxes, which means collectors don’t know what they are going to get until they open the box. Adding to the collectibility are insertion ratios that make some figures rarer than others. Funko’s Pint Size Heroes, which also come in blind boxes based on collections, are also hitting South African soil this year, with the range of Funko collectibles, gifts and accessories to be expanded by Gammatek in 2018.
