MasterDrive at TruckX 2018
TruckX 2018 is only a few days away already. MasterDrive will be at the expo again this year showcasing their rollover prevention truck and facilitating the Speed in Suits challenge.
The expo is taking place at Kyalami Raceway on 11 and 12 July 2018 and entry is free if you register online.
While at the expo, you can spend some time with MasterDrive learning about their revolutionary rollover prevention truck. Take the opportunity to see the truck - with outrigger wheels attached to the tanker - and chat to the instructors behind the training programme.
According to the managing director of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert, the truck is definitely a must-see experience.
“The extra set of wheels allows the driver to feel at what point a truck reaches its limit before a rollover happens and the consequences of the load moving. Thus a driver can see how going around a corner too fast can put them in danger of overturning.
“MasterDrive is proactive in this segment, bringing about considerable difference. We are the only advanced driver trainers to offer this kind of training in Africa. It is one of a kind training and well worth seeing,”
says Herbert.
Like the previous year, MasterDrive will also be one of the sponsors of the SA Express Parcel Association (SAEPA) Speed in a Suit competition along with Cartrack as the telematics sponsor. This unique and exhilarating event is specifically designed for guests to show off their driving skills in a Fiat Doblo vehicle by achieving the quickest and safest amount of time in a vehicle while using the least amount of fuel.
Breathe on it
MasterDrive, Fiat and CarTrack will also be collaborating on a fun breath-test product demonstration outside the Expo venue. A cutting-edge ignition interlock device, which is an invaluable tool in helping fleet managers enforce safer and sober driving, will be available for competitors and spectators to see at the event.
Catch it live
For those who cannot watch the competition at the track, Cartrack will have a TV screen displaying footage from two camera video systems inside the venue. Both of these will increase safety and security for fleets, drivers, passengers and the general public and enhance efficiency and productivity. Live Vision camera footage will be streamed from the Fiat vehicle on the Cartrack exhibition stand, providing a practical and live demonstration of the product.
This year’s TruckX, with great experiences, is just a few days away. The programme is going to be action-packed, engaging and unforgettable.
