Volvo Car Group Tech Moment
Volvo Car Group hosted a Tech Moment on 30 June 2021, where we shared details on our future technology roadmap.
As we transition to becoming a fully electric premium car company by 2030, we are committed to creating the best cars in our 94-year history.
Senior leadership, including chief executive Håkan Samuelsson, shared the first glimpse of the technologies that underpin our future.
Exciting new details were revealed in areas such as our path to full electrification, our ambition to take software development increasingly in-house, centralization of computing, plans for the next level of safety technology, and the plan for introduction of safe autonomous driving. We also unveiled our future approach to infotainment and a concept car that not only visualises our technology roadmap but also shows the future of our design intention in the pure-electric era.
