Recipe for Easy Yoghurt Waffles by Lancewood

Ingredients:

 

180ml Cake Flour

125ml Corn Flour

2.5g Baking Powder

1ml Salt

15ml Sugar

1 Large Egg

250ml Lancewood Double Cream Plain Yoghurt or Double Cream Vanilla Yoghurt

80ml Oil

60 Milk

5ml Vanilla Essence

 

Method:

  1. Mix the flour, corn flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together in a bowl.
  2. Using a separate bowl, beat the yoghurt, egg, oil, milk, and vanilla essence together. Add to the flour mixture and mix to a smooth batter.
  3. Preheat the Waffle Pan. Add the batter to the bottom plate of the waffle pan and spread out evenly. Do not overfill.
  4. Cook for 3 - 4 minutes or until golden and crispy to your liking.
  5. Finish with your favourite toppings listed below.
  6. *Recipe makes 6 x 12cm x 12cm waffles

 

Toppings:

Lancewood Mascarpone

Whipped Cream

Strawberries (sliced)

Blueberries

Banana (sliced)

Honey

Nutella

Maple Syrup

Pecan Nuts or Almonds (chopped)

Smarties

Mini Marshmallows

Chocolate Sauce

Lancewood Cheese - for savoury options
