Peppa Pig, Peppa Pig, Hooray!
Bing bong Bing biddly biddly bong a boo..... if you have heard this song before then you would know that Peppa Pig is in town.
The build up to Peppa Pig Live in South Africa was great, but the excitement of being at the show was even better, for my son that is.
As most parents would say about their child - he is the biggest Peppa Pig fan. Well if you hear him singing the songs, and narrating the episodes you would think so too.
The look on his face to see Peppa, George, Mummy and Daddy Pig all on stage was priceless and looking at the other kids in the audience, they also were in shock that their favourite characters had been brought to life right in front of their eyes.
The show was about 30 minutes for each half with a 15 minute break in between which was perfect for the younger audience not to get bored.

Most of the characters in the tv series as well as most of the songs from the show were in this live stage production.
For those who want the full experience, there is a VIP meet and greet package available, which we were fortunate enough to receive. Children have a chance after the show to meet Peppa Pig and take pictures with her.

The show runs until 2 April at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg before making it's way to Cape Town's International Convention Centre from 6 to 8 April 2018 and then Durban's Playhouse Theatre from 20 to 22 April 2018.
Peppa will be back in Pretoria at the South African State Theatre on Youth Day, Saturday, 16 June and Sunday, 17 June 2018 and a stopover in Port Elizabeth at the Opera House from 23 to 24 June 2018.
Tickets are selling fast and most shows have been sold out but it's definitely worth it for the whole family to see.
